How I can help

Here's how a Marketing Reset works.

Fresh Perspective

See your marketing through fresh eyes - an objective view of what's actually working, what isn't, and where the real opportunities are.

Right Focus

Identify what matters most, what's worth focusing on, and where your time and money will make the biggest difference.

Enquiries to Customers

Connect your marketing with how you actually win business - so more enquiries, follow-ups and conversations convert into customers.

Reset your marketing and take back control

Online Visibility

Understand how visible your business is online. Your website, search presence and social channels - and what's worth improving first.

Practical Action

Walk away with simple, practical next steps that fit your time, budget and stage of growth.

Clear Advice

Honest advice about what's worth doing, what isn't, and where your effort will make the biggest difference.

What you come away with

You'll leave with a clear Reset Report and a focused plan you can actually implement - specific to your business, with clear priorities and practical next steps. Here's what every Marketing Reset delivers.

Clarity

Understand exactly which parts of your marketing are working, where the gaps are, and what's worth fixing first.

Focus

Leave knowing precisely where to focus your time and effort - no more spreading yourself thin or guessing what to prioritise.

Action

A written Reset Report with practical next steps you can actually implement- specific to your business, not generic advice.

Who you're working with

Picture of James

Experience that works for you

I've spent over 30 years in sales and marketing across travel, music, construction, retail and e-commerce - and ran my own small business for more than a decade. I've worked for start-ups, small businesses and inside large organisations, including at head office for the UK's biggest retailer.
I understand what it feels like when every decision matters - and how to make marketing practical, focused and commercially sensible.

How I work

Marketing isn't always about doing more. It's about doing the right things for your business - knowing what to prioritise, what to stop, and what will genuinely move things forward right now.
A few clear, focused changes nearly always beat a long list of ideas nobody has time to action.

Outside of work

Home is Great Dunmow, Essex, where I live with my family. Away from work, it's drums, travel, and a steadily growing vinyl collection.
Integrity matters to me. I treat every business I work with as if it were my own - with care, realism and honesty. I don't oversell, hide behind jargon, or recommend anything I wouldn't do for my own business.

"The aim of marketing is to know and understand the customer so well the product or service fits them and sells itself."
